I published “Podcasting Church” on June 2. Today is July 1. So how did the first month go? Well, I sold some. There are 19 in print. Of those, I still have possession of 7. I gave away 5 (with one being local that I haven’t delivered yet for a total of 6). So, I’ve sold 7. Of those 2 were to family. Three were to friends. Two were to people I didn’t know before this month.
Why do I tell you this? Apparently, It’s fairly common. I need to be more proactive in publicity, but I wonder if I’m ramping up or if I’ve plateaued. I really hope I’m ramping up.
I’m looking for places to have a book tour. I think feet on the floor, butts in seats, classes and autograph sessions are the way to go, but we’ll see.
